Managing Director, India and Vice President of IT, Asia Pacific    

India head with responsibilities for all five businesses (Automotive, Commercial Vehicles, Hydraulics, Electrical and Aerospace) and Professional Services (Engineering, IT, Finance and Operational Shared Services) to develop strategies that will build Eaton's overall presence and success in India. In addition to manufacturing, Eaton in Pune provides professional services across the globe. India operations consist of over 3700 employees in 5 manufacturing facilities, 11 sales offices, and professional services center.

  • Grew the India organization via key initiatives including "Technology Days" to introduce clients and potential clients to Eaton's Power Management Solutions. The implementation of a Key Account program resulted in 6% incremental revenue every year from existing relationships via a One Eaton positioning (cross business sales). Revenues of the Eaton India entities increased over 4X during this period
  • Enhanced Eaton’s brand and reinforced commitment to “Doing Business Right” through presentations and seminars at industry organizations & universities. Championed the “Sustainability Conclave” aired on CNBC
  • Built Organization Capability (recruited & developed local talent to support the Region). Focused on skill enhancement and continuous learning for employee development and retention
  • Collaborated with officials in the local, state and central governments on topics relating to manufacturing and IT/ITES policies, energy related projects, labour, taxes, environment, land acquisition, etc.
  • Significantly expanded Professional Services: Launched multiple initiatives including Budgeting/Forecasting/Reporting applications; Oracle implementation services; Business Insight through Industry Analysis; Financial Reporting and Analysis; HR reporting and analysis.
  • Developed India as the hub for ERP (previously from Glasgow); Standardized the support and site infrastructure resources in the region, Implemented Siebel for local businesses; Migrated newly acquired businesses to Oracle; Implemented Kronos for time tracking and attendance across the India entities.
  • Eaton University (internal training centre) developed web based training programs in addition to 73 Instructor led courses covering 1484 employees, providing up to 1656 days of training.
  • Initiated Continuous Improvement projects resulting in significant cost efficiency. Four of the projects were recognized at the Asia Pacific level and one at Eaton Global level won external recognition.
